Alternative educational 贷款 are available from private lenders and offer additional financial assistance if you have exhausted all other sources (scholarships, 奖助金, work-study and federal loan programs) of funding for your education. These programs are meant to supplement federal, state and institutional aid when the 出勤费用 (COA) is not fully covered by these programs.
PG电子APP encourages students to only borrow what they need to cover their educational costs. Our 金融援助 counselors continue to remind students that the more you borrow, the higher your monthly payment will be after graduation. The PG电子APP 学生财务服务 department requires the completion of a Free Application for Student Aid (FAFSA) before certification of any alternative loan.
Federal regulations require all students applying for an alternative loan to complete a Private 教育 Loan Applicant Self-Certification form.

For ease of comparison PG电子APP uses 榆树选择. This allows students to compare various alternative 贷款 and to be able to apply for the loan at one convenient location. These lenders are the ones most used by our students and are recommended based on the quality of products and services they provide to students and families. Lender characteristics include: lender stability, reputation (customer-focused student loan products) and customer service (provide good service to both the student and PG电子APP); ease in which borrower’s questions are answered and issues resolved; and loan products assure value to the borrower. Students are encouraged to compare these 贷款 with one another, as well as with alternative student loan products offered by other lending institutions.
Students have the right to use a lender that is not listed at 榆树选择. To borrow an alternative loan from another lender, access the lender’s website and complete the student loan application. PG电子APP的校号是 009862.
Community Sponsored 教育al Loan Programs
Boys Town offers two, full-tuition educational 贷款 ($13,794/year for the 2024-2025学年).
学生必须:
- Work for Boys Town National Research Hospital at least 8 hours a week while attending school.
- Sign an agreement to work for a minimum of 36 months post-graduation.
- Be enrolled full-time in the PG电子APP undergraduate nursing program.
- 至少有3个.5 GPA(新生)或3.0 GPA(归国学生)
